LDS Legal Workshop

Unlock the potential of language data through the European Data Union Strategy

As language data continues to play an increasingly vital role in the digital transformation of Europe, aligning with core EU values has never been more essential. The European Language Data Space (LDS) is dedicated to fostering a trusted and secure environment where language data can be shared and reused in a legally and ethically responsible manner.

The LDS Legal Workshop will explore the central question: How can we unlock the potential of language data through the European Data Union Strategy? It will examine the development of new mechanisms within the LDS ecosystem, assess the legal challenges of providing compliant language data and discuss how to embed legal compliance by design into future data use practices.

Register for this hybrid event to gain fresh insights into the legal and strategic dimensions shaping the future of language data in Europe.
