Towards a European Multilingual AI Media Platform

  • Training and workshops

In close collaboration with the European Commission, LDS is organising and conducting an event titled “Towards a European Multilingual AI Media Platform” on 11 March 2026 at the Europäisches Haus in Berlin.

The upcoming event aims to foster collaboration between the European Media and AI industries, supporting the development of a multilingual media landscape that can operate efficiently across languages and borders. It will specifically look at the creation of a pan-European platform using multilingual AI technologies to make available real-time news and information from professional media outlets across the EU to wider audiences. Given LDS’s commitment to facilitate the monetisation and sharing of language data and cultural sensitivity in digital systems, the platform initiative aligns closely with the objectives for scalable, ethically governed language resources and services.
