The LDS connector is endowed with a prototype invoicing module, developed on the basis of the SolidInvoice software software, that automatically generates invoices and transfers them to the connector of consumers that have requested access to an on-a-fee offer.
The consumer can download the invoice and proceed to its payment outside the LDS system. Once the payment has been completed, the providers marks the invoice as paid via the invoicing module. Only after this confirmation the consumers can complete the transfer of the dataset to their premises.
In future versions, consumers will be redirected to a secure payment link (or be notified of such a link) and be able to proceed directly with the payment.
