The ELG (European Language Grid) platform provides access to Language Technology resources from all over Europe. It includes tools and services, language resources as well as information on European LT companies, research organisations and their projects.
In this respect, ELG is one of the projects the LDS can be considered a continuation of, as the LDS takes the efforts of ELG towards the collection of high-quality language data to the next level, bringing together relevant data infrastructures and governance frameworks to facilitate language data pooling and sharing.
