Ingo Siegert

Jun.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ingo Siegert's research is focused on (spoken) dialog systems, in particular in interdisciplinary investigations of human-computer interaction. Thereby, he investigates the acoustics in terms of addressee detection, perceived charisma as well as the utilization of further interaction patterns, such as filled pauses or discourse particles, within the scope of voice assistants. Furthermore, he creates and uses corpora of human computer interactions, such as Voice Assistant Conversation Corpus, and the Voice Assistant in the Wild Corpus.

In addition, he is currently Chairman of the board of the national association Deutsche Gesellschaft Juniorprofessur e.V., Secretary of the ISCA Security and Privacy in Speech Communication Special Interest Group and active in Science Communication.
