In the LDS project, the word ‘Governance’ plays a crucial role. Its meaning is two-fold: on the one hand, it can refer to the two Governance Bodies the LDS initiative will have; on the other hand, it can indicate the LDS Governance Scheme, i.e., the set of rules defining access and (re-)use of language data and models in the LDS.
